Is it REALLY this close?

I was talking to John earlier today and he was talking about "block leave". It really hit me then that he will be leaving again, for Iraq, so soon. It just doesn't seem like September should be around the corner. It doesn't even feel like he's been home 10 months!!! It is time for me to start planning for those 15 months that he's away. (I'm a planner...I have to have plans...lol...even if they are only in my head.)

Thought I would share a couple of pictures of some cards that I am making to send overseas for our troops to send back home to loved ones. I belong to a wonderful message board and I guess they have been doing this for a while. I thought it was definitely a worth while thing to do. I'm committed to make 15 for this challenge.
